Hello and welcome! My name is Rachel, and my passion is bringing the warmth and comfort of traditional European rustic cuisine to your table. I believe that food should be more than just nourishment—it should be a joyful experience, crafted with love and time-honored techniques.
My focus is on authentic, old-world flavors, using fresh, natural, and sustainable ingredients to create hearty breads, rich pastries, and rustic dishes inspired by the countryside kitchens of Europe. Whether it's a crusty artisan loaf, a delicate Viennese pastry, or a slow-simmered stew, my goal is to celebrate the beauty of simple, time-tested cooking.
My love for the culinary arts began in childhood, and by 15, I was already training in professional kitchens. I later attended the Northwest Culinary Institute in 2016 and gained experience working in bakeries, restaurants, resorts, coffee shops, and markets. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of catering intimate gatherings, weddings, and festive celebrations.
Now, alongside my husband Jeremiah, my lifelong dream is becoming a reality! As of November 2024, I am thrilled to be opening my own business, dedicated to sharing the heartwarming flavors of rustic European cuisine with my community.
